Athens offers many avenues for shopping around the city, but the Five Points shopping center is one unique spot not found anywhere else. This mall is anything but the typical department store and food court set up.

In the heart of a classic Athenian neighborhood surrounded by homes dating back to the 1920s, local artists, jewelry makers and other entrepreneurs make up the distinct Five Points family. Blonde is one of the original shopping spots. This upscale boutique is a haven for the latest in women's fashion with designer brands like Diane Von Furstenberg.

For styles on a budget, the Suska consignment shop is an upscale place to buy name-brand clothes at lower prices.

Homeplace, Hawthorne House and Southern Comforts are three shops located at Five Points where shoppers can spice up their homes with antique furnishings and décor, some of which is locally made.

Visitors of Five Points can also pamper themselves before or after a shopping trip at Mint, a hair and skin-care salon where clients can experience the luxury of excellent organic skin treatments.

The Athens 5 Points Yoga studio is also located in this shopping center. Various classes are available daily, and they also hold workshops and special events like yoga boot camp.
