Meridian, Idaho is the perfect place for your next vacation

More and more people are discovering what a great place Meridian is to put down roots. Known as the state’s fastest-growing city, Meridian offers economic prosperity, a rich history and plenty of natural beauty. Three local residents offer tips on dining, the outdoors and fun things to do in this Treasure Valley city.

Q: Where do you like to take your daughter for a day of fun in Meridian?
A: I like to take her to any of the great facilities such as Jump Time and Urban Air. We also enjoy going to Wahooz Family Fun Zone and Roaring Springs Water Park. When it is nice outside, you will find us at any of the amazing Meridian parks.

Q: Are there a couple of kid-friendly restaurants you like to go to?
A: We really enjoy Eight Thirty Common and Gramercy Park Pizza & Grill.

Q: Where do you take family or friends who visit Meridian?
A: We take our family and friends to the up-and-coming downtown Meridian, as well as The Village.

Q: Where do you like to take visitors to enjoy the outdoors in Meridian?
A:
We love taking visitors to Kleiner Park. It is such a beautifully maintained park with things to do for everybody. We've been to several events there that never disappoint. 

Q: What are some of your favorite outdoor activities in Meridian?
A:
We have one of the best waterparks in the nation at Roaring Springs. The best part is, we don’t have to leave the area, we can have a nice staycation right here in Meridian!

Q: What sets Meridian apart when it comes to the outdoors?
A:
I can’t say enough about our parks. There is so much open space, and they are so well maintained. You can reserve a picnic area and host family gatherings or parties.

Q: Where do you like to take visitors to eat?
A:
My wife and I really like Eight Thirty Common in downtown Meridian. It’s a casual place with a great menu. We also like to take guests to Epi’s, which is a very authentic Basque restaurant.

Q: What’s a great place to go get coffee?
A:
For coffee, we like Deja Brew. It’s cozy and they also have Sunday brunch.

Q: What’s the best thing about dining out in Meridian?
A:
You always feel like you’re dining with family in Meridian. The restaurants are warm and friendly but still professional.
