The Karlfeldt Center

Dr. Michael Karlfeldt’s interest in natural medicine began at a very young age. Losing his dad to cancer fueled a personal passion for learning about integrative cancer remedies.

As a board-certified naturopath practicing for more than 30 years, Karlfeldt now serves patients of all ages from Boise, the Treasure Valley and around the world who are seeking ways to enhance the effectiveness of traditional cancer treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation while minimizing side effects.

The Karlfeldt Center prides itself on being a national leader in integrative oncology care utilizing cutting-edge therapy not available in many areas of the world.

The center has partnered with clinics across the globe to drive therapies using a combination of platelet-derived nanomedicine, peptides, laser therapy, oxygen, photosensitizers, intravenous natural and nutritional substances, repurposed pharmaceuticals and diet.

These therapies are designed to specifically target cancer cells, starving them, shutting down their signaling mechanism, activating their cell-death switch, and killing cancer cells without harming healthy tissue while also boosting the individual’s immune system.

At The Karlfeldt Center in Meridian, patients are evaluated for factors that may be contributing to cancer growth, including toxic emotions and belief systems, chemical exposures, chronic infections, nutritional deficiencies and organ weaknesses in an effort to reverse the effects of the disease in every way possible.

I have seen the most difficult cancer turn around with the type of therapies we offer.

Unlike allopathic medicine, which focuses on symptoms, naturopathic oncology targets the root cause.

“We are not replacing traditional cancer care,” Karlfeldt says. “We’re maximizing the efficacy of medical treatments and supporting the health of the body to reduce the negative effects of chemo and radiation.

“Sometimes people run out of medical options,” he continues. “I have seen the most difficult cancer turn around with the type of therapies we offer. We believe so strongly in the importance of the integration of naturopathic and traditional oncology that we partnered with a leading medical oncologist to offer life-saving medical support.”

“It doesn’t matter how much chemo or radiation an individual receives,” Karlfeldt adds. “These therapies are great at reducing tumors but will never get rid of 100% of the cancer. It is the immune system that takes care of the rest. The issue is that both radiation and chemo are very crippling to the immune system and leaves the body vulnerable to the reoccurrence of cancer, sometimes in an even more aggressive form. What we do is to support the immune system to maximize its ability to protect the body post-traditional cancer therapies.”

In addition to cancer and chronic diseases such as Lyme and autoimmune diseases, The Karlfeldt Center offers two additional “pillars” designed to improve quality of life – regenerative and brain/ neurological therapies.

Suppose you are looking for anti-aging, weight loss, libido, joint restoration, hormonal health, or to have more energy and be more productive.

In that case, The Karlfeldt Center has a regenerative solution. Karlfeldt and his team have guided celebrities, leading political and business personalities, toward optimum health and performance for many decades.

The third pillar focuses on brain and neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s, ALS, MS, PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, autism, dementia and Alzheimer’s.

To address these concerns, The Karlfeldt Center offers a powerful combination of hyperbaric oxygen therapies, neurofeedback, microcurrent, laser therapies, detoxification, nutritional therapies, peptides and trauma release therapies.

“Dr. Karlfeldt is always working on new integrative ways to partner natural medicine and mainstream medicine,” says Rachel Freeman, the center’s director of marketing. “Some of our services and treatments are state-of-the-art, only found in Germany or Mexico. It’s revolutionary – and it works.”

Dr. Karlfeldt can be heard on his two podcasts, internationally recognized Integrative Cancer Solutions and Integrative Lyme Solutions. His radio show, HealthMade Radio, airs Sundays at 5 pm MST on Idaho’s most prominent talk show channel, KIDO 580 AM or 107.5 FM.
