From burgers to barbecue, steaks to seafood, Southern Idaho restaurants offer palate pleasers for every meal

Twin Falls, ID has a variety of special food finds, including the Anchor Classic burger at The Anchor Bistro and Bar.

Be sure to bring your appetite to Twin Falls and Southern Idaho. The region offers a full menu of restaurants, ranging from food trucks to fine dining

Breakfast

Stop in the Buffalo Cafe for its house breakfast specialty, the Buffalo Chip skillet or try the landmark Depot Grill for its famous Train Wreck, an enormous 4½-pound platter of pancakes, sausage and eggs.

Lunch

Arctic Circle burger chain and Stevo’s in Heyburn serves up burgers and fries with their own special sauce. Shoshone Snack Bar is a go-to for its signature mile-high ice cream cones. Chadwick Sports Grille and Ediths Cafe, both in Burley serve classic lunch fare like burgers and fries.

Big appetite? The Twin Falls Sandwich Co. boasts the Balanced Rock, a signature sandwich topped with ham, pastrami, bacon and cheddar cheese on a fresh hoagie roll.

Enjoy specialty sandwiches or pizza along with more than 30 beers on tap at O’Dunken’s Draught House in the heart of downtown Twin Falls. For lunch on the go, try Big Fatty’s BBQ food truck for lunch on the go.

Dinner

Elevation 486 boasts food and spirits for the New West, while The Restaurant at Crossings Winery offers a uniquely Southern dining experience. KB’s Burritos claims to have the best burritos in Idaho, and The Anchor Bistro & Bar is a perfect place to catch a game. Jakers has long been a go-to for consistently good food, but new restaurant Blu in Filer hopes to introduce diners to cuisine from outside the region.

Rock Creek Restaurant in Twin Falls is popular for steak and fresh fish, and takes pride in having one of the area’s best wine selections. Morey’s Steakhouse serves seafood and pasta and boasts “the best steak on the snake.” Prime rib is also a favorite at Henry’s at the Drift Inn.

Pizza

Doc’s Pizza in Rupert has been serving customers since 1979 in the circa-1914 Guyer Building on the square. Slice in downtown Twin Falls features local and craft beer and a full bar. Zeppe’s serves pizza and subs.

International

El Sombrero and La Plaza serve authentic Mexican fare, while the Asian Food Market in Twin Falls offers Vietnamese dishes like pho and hard-to-find cooking ingredients.

Brewery

Twin Falls Brewing Company offers crafted microbrews with fresh food in a friendly casual-dining atmosphere.
