Carmel has lots of bars and pubs to relax in while enjoying the city. Brockway Public House Pub pours a good pint and whips up a proper shepherd’s pie. The pub also often hosts live music in its Irish quarters, which are good to enjoy with friends or to unwind to with co-workers. Old Town Tavern is another good place to unwind, where you can grab a drink and play billiard games.
Coworkers also meet up at Carmel’s own Woody’s Library Restaurant and bar. Bring your date or come with friends to the renovated Carnegie Library, and enjoy a pasta dish or vegetarian pot pie while sipping on a dry rose.
Lastly, Muldoon’s is a don’t-miss pub that hosts fun events like trivia nights. The friendly bar has consecutively won the title of Best Bar in Indy, and their famous tenderloin sandwiches keep the people coming to the Art and Design District location.
Additionally, more than 50 vendors gather on Civic Square at the Carmel Farmers Market each Saturday morning. Here, you can find fresh produce and specialty cuisine items, like spinach balls and pretzels.
