The Hub is a popular Coffee and Sandwich shop in downtown Danville.

A town as charming as Danville deserves a dining scene every bit as vibrant as the one locals and visitors enjoy there daily. With beloved independent eateries and a few familiar faces in the mix, Danville can satisfy the most demanding appetite for breakfast, lunch, dinner and every hunger pang in between.

Bluegrass Pizza & Pub

Bluegrass Pizza & Pub is a labor of love for owners Colin and Melissa Masters, who proudly serve Danville’s only wood-fired pie, crafted to order with made-fresh-daily dough and as many locally sourced toppings as they can round up. Even better? They offer a robust selection of craft beers to wash it all down.

Danville Bistro

Owned by the same family that operated the now-closed Taqueria Los Amigos, Danville Bistro serves up authentic, street-style Mexican tacos as well as American favorites like Chicago-style hot dogs. Customers also love the bistro’s refreshing beverage selection, including water infused with fresh lime and cucumber and Jamaican iced tea. In addition to a new name, the restaurant has a new location: 115 Perryville Street.

Grace Cafe

On a mission to eliminate hunger in Boyle County, Grace Cafe is Kentucky’s first “pay-what-you-can” restaurant. The nonprofit Danville cafe serves nutritious, locally sourced foods, such as farm-fresh eggs and locally grown fruits and vegetables, for lunch Monday through Friday, dinner on Saturday and brunch on Sunday. While there is a suggested donation price for each menu item, diners can pay a lower price based on their available funds. If a diner is unable to pay for food, he or she can volunteer at the restaurant for one hour in exchange for a meal.

The Hub Coffee House & Cafe

The Hub Coffee House & Cafe isn’t just any old coffee shop. While this quaint cafe can serve up a mean latte, its regulars know The Hub best for its menu of pastries, quiches, salads, wraps and ciabatta-bread sandwiches. It’s the perfect stop for a delicious meal or a quick caffeine infusion.

Mallard’s

Diners hungry for hot wings, barbecue or burgers with a side of live entertainment will enjoy Mallard’s. This pub-style eatery also features entrée and side-dish options, cold brews and plenty of sports. It’s a great place to catch the big game or meet friends.

Pies for You and Cookies Too

The locally owned Pies For You and Cookies Too serves made-from-scratch goodies in downtown Danville. The sweet shop’s Key lime pie is a local favorite, but customers can also enjoy chess, chocolate fudge, nut, meringue and fruit pies. While slices are available daily, whole pies must be ordered in advance, and cookies can be purchased individually or ordered by the dozen.
