An alphabet soup of acronyms and abbreviations describes Vision Net –WAN, SD-WAN, Unified Communications/Hosted VoIP, IoT management, and more – but the Montana-based telecommunications company is best described with one word: commitment.

With its headquarters in Great Falls and offices in Billings, Helena and Missoula, Vision Net designs telecommunication solutions that fuel economic development and job growth, as evidenced when the Great Falls Area Chamber of Commerce awarded it the 2020 Medium-Sized Business of the Year.

When Helena and Billings struggled to meet increased demand in 2018, Vision Net committed to fund and deliver critical broadband fiber infrastructure. Vision Net designs, builds and installs IT networks and other solutions necessary to driving today’s digital and connected landscape.

“We keep in mind the vital data that we carry across our network and all the organizations and the people who rely on what we do,” says Corey Jensen, Vision Net’s CEO.

“We’re on the job 24/7/365, never an off day,” he adds. “People’s lives are at stake. People can’t call 911 without Vision Net’s services.”

Employee health and well-being are a top priority, and Vision Net provides monthly consultations that empower employees to proactively manage their health, sleep, activity, nutrition and more.

Volunteerism is part of Vision Net’s culture that is built on the rural values of cooperation, accountability and commitment. Vision Net financially supports nonprofits and provides time for employees to volunteer as part of its responsibility to Montana communities.

“It’s a great thing for our employees to rally around,” Jensen says, referring to employees volunteering during Special Olympics Montana. “I sense from our employees they are very energized by these events.”

Looking ahead, Vision Net remains committed to providing business solutions that fuel growth, innovation and technologies to drive the future in Montana and beyond.
