Remember when Carrie and Brody met in that swanky Washington, D.C. hotel bar in Season 2 of Showtime’s hit thriller, Homeland? Yeah, they weren’t in the nation’s capital. They were in the Queen City, and viewers were treated to a great shot of the Cutter’s Cigar Bar & Lounge at Charlotte Marriott City Center.
In fact, Homeland has featured a lot of great shots of Charlotte and recently wrapped its third season of shooting in the city. The economic impact of the first two seasons on the city exceed $65 million.
Homeland is just one of dozens of television shows and movies that use the city as a backdrop. In fact, in terms of time on screen, Charlotte is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood.
