Carolina Forest Elementary

The mission of Carolina Forest International Elementary is to inspire the creativity and ambition to succeed while empowering students to invest in their learning. This public school accepts grades K-through-5 and provides a safe and vibrant environment where students develop academic, social and emotional strengths. Established in August 2004, the school currently serves approximately 850 students.

New Bridge Middle

New Bridge Middle is a public school serving students in grades 6, 7, and 8. It’s Onslow County’s middle school magnet program and offers a curriculum focused on science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and the arts. In order to offer the students the best education possible, New Bridge Middle emphasizes learning through hands-on, immersive science.

Southwest Middle

Southwest Elementary

Southwest Elementary is a rural public school that welcomes children in preschool through fifth grade. They support and challenge their students through collaboration and teamwork, and aim to provide them with the learning tools and opportunities necessary to become passionate, lifelong learners. Approximately 82% of the students at Southwest Elementary consistently score at or above grade level, earning Southwest the designation of a “School of Distinction.”

Northside High

Great Schools Rating: 6

Northside High brings in students from a number of communities in the Jacksonville area, including many children of military men and women. The school aims to prepare its students for the globally competitive world by offering a number of programs, like: 21st Century Academy, Culinary Arts Academy, STEM Academy, and Avid Program. They also recently introduced the Sports Marketing Academy, which prepares students for a variety of fields, including sports marketing, video production, referee certification, and health sciences.

Montessori Children’s School (Private)

The school is associated with the First Free Will Baptist Church.
