The majestic stadium that opened in 1949 has won several awards over the years for its upkeep, and today can seat 4,100 spectators. Upgrades seem to occur every few years or so including new scoreboards throughout Grainger Stadium. The stadium grounds feature a picnic area with tables that have a full view of the field. The ball park hosts a variety of events including softball games, concerts and college baseball games.
