There are four major shopping districts and one mall in Winston-Salem.
The Hanes Mall, with more than 200 stores, is one of the largest shopping malls in the Winston-Salem area. Thruway Shopping Center
Winston-Salem’s first shopping center, Thruway Shopping Center, features almost 50 different merchants. Clothing retailers such as Talbots and Coldwater Creek are found in the same vicinity as Plow & Hearth and New Balance. When hunger strikes, shoppers don't have to wander far to grab a bite; more than 10 restaurants offer everything from sushi to smoothies.
