Scottsbluff residents have options when it come to continuing their education. Thanks to a community college and a satellite campus, students can learn at any stage of life.
Western Nebraska Community College
Serving almost 2,500 students, Western Nebraska Community College has two other campuses besides its flagship school in Scottsbluff. Students from almost 13 counties in the Nebraska Panhandle come to WNCC for credit and noncredit courses at the school's Scottsbluff, Alliance and Sidney campuses, as well as various sites throughout the service area. WNCC works closely with all of their communities to ensure the courses the school offers meet the needs the community’s students.
University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing – West Nebraska Division
Scottsbluff residents don’t have to travel far to get a nursing degree from the University of Nebraska. The university's College of Nursing – West Nebraska Division is found in the University of Nebraska Complex in Scottsbluff. The West Nebraska Division opened about 25 years ago to prepare students wanting to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing.
