Cincinnati has almost 50 parks including Mount Airy Forest, which is the largest municipal park in the city. It comprises nearly 1,500 acres and features miles of hiking trails, as well as a Frisbee golf course.
Golfers can choose from the city’s seven courses when they're ready to tee it up. All of the courses and facilities are operated by Billy Casper Golf and offer lovely views to accompany challenging courses.
Cincinnati is home to both adult and youth sports leagues. Adults can choose from a wide range of activities that vary from golf to kickball, while youth sports leagues allow kids to choose from several sports including tennis and floor hockey.
There are more than 20 pools in Cincinnati. Low annual membership fees and family-friendly activities are offered at each of the facilities.
Those looking to get out on the open water of the Ohio River can go to either Riverside Boat Ramp or Schmidt Boat Ramp. Complete with concessions and an on-site attendant, both ramps cost $10 for a 24-hour period.
