Founded more than 70 years ago, Camp Washington Chili is known for its Cincinnati-style chili served on a plate full of spaghetti piled high with chili, beans, onions and mounds of shredded cheese. Hot dogs and fries are other available platforms for the restaurant's chili.
There are numerous chains and chili parlors all serving up versions of the city’s famous concoction, but locals agree that Camp Washington Chili is the best local spot for the flavorful dish. Camp Washington Chili has also garnered national fame, winning an “American Regional Classic” James Beard Foundation Award.
