Granville leads the way with four golf venues, and the communities of Johnstown, Newark and Pataskala have three apiece. Communities with one course are Alexandria, Heath, Hebron and Nashport.

Granville Golf Course
Granville Golf Course has been an attraction since 1924. Famed architect Donald Ross designed the public venue by utilizing the natural rolling, wooded terrain to create settings for each hole. Golf Digest rates Granville GC with 4 1/2 stars out of 5, and the signature No. 18 hole has an elevated tee that is 125 feet above the fairway.
The Links at Echo Springs
This public course in Johnstown spans a challenging 6,875 yards and is sprinkled with the right blend of Scottish links style to provide an interesting golf experience. In the peak months of May through December, The Links has reasonable weekday rates of $38 for 18 holes with a cart, and $42 on weekends.
Moundbuilders Country Club
This private destination in Newark was founded in 1910 and is one of Ohio's oldest private clubs. It has four sets of tees that make the course measure from 5,103 to 6,737 yards, and most rounds can be completed in less than 3 1/2 hours. Moundbuilders CC also has a large clubhouse that can accommodate private dinners and social functions for up to 250 people.
Raccoon International Golf Club
Raccoon International is a public facility in Granville that measures 6,586 yards. The par 72 layout is challenging for the accomplished golfer, yet not too overwhelming for the beginner. Holes range in length from the 121-yard No. 11 over water, to the devilish 666-yard No. 17.
