The best places to chow down in Broken Arrow, OK

Broken Arrow has never been more delicious. From bars to breakfast bistros, the food scene in Broken Arrow is booming like never before. Here are five of our favorite facilities for fun and feasting:

Sushi

In the Raw, one of Broken Arrow’s hippest eateries, this sushi joint’s menu has classic favorites like tuna or California rolls, and gutsy offerings like the Nirvana roll, which features crab cake, cream cheese, and jalapeno, with a creamy habanero sauce. And for lunch, try their cabo tacos for an East-meets-Southwest fusion flair with a kick.

Dinner & Drinks with a View

Above In the Raw is the Rose District’s newest hot spot: The Rooftop Bar. Its owners had a great concept – pair great food with great service and a great view. The patio has some of the prettiest sights in town, overlooking the Rose District, which for the last few years has developed into the place to be for area foodies.

Barbecue

According to Oklahoma Joe’s, their world-famous barbecue sauce has won more awards than “any other sauce on the planet.” Whether that’s scientifically true or not doesn’t matter – take one taste and you won’t care. Their founder, Joe Davidson, started out selling smokers but eventually found his true calling – selling some of the tastiest meats in the Great Plains and beyond.

Breakfast

Any foodie worth his salt will tell you that good food doesn’t have to be fancy. It just has to be fresh, well-balanced, and made with love. Egg It On delivers all three of those notes, and adds a simple but elegant presentation to the mix that makes this one of the area’s best breakfast spots. Its surprisingly diverse menu has old-school favorites like oatmeal and waffles, but also ambitious ways to start your day like a unique take on eggs Benedict called the Egg It On Benny’s.

Mexican

When you’re talking about Mexican staples like fajitas and enchiladas, it takes a lot to stand out. Thousands of restaurants around the country are all serving the same versions of these favorite dishes. But not Los Cabos. Partly it’s the service, which Los Cabos prides itself on, but ultimately, it’s the attention to culinary detail that makes Los Cabos one of Broken Arrow’s stand-out options for a south-of-the-border taste. Diners in the mood for Mexican food may also gravitate to Fiesta Mambo, which serves authentic Mexican dishes alongside homemade, hand-fried chips and salsa.

Burgers, Soups & Salads

The family-oriented Full Moon Café has two locations that feature American cuisine that is, burgers, salads, and pastas, along with a dash of TexMex. The restaurant’s top seller is its tortilla soup, with its chicken margarita salad coming in second.

Café Savannah’s, a full-service restaurant located inside the main clubhouse at Forest Ridge Golf Club, offers patrons a diverse array of menu options including steaks, fish, burgers, salads, and sandwiches, as well as a view of the well-manicured fairways of the golf course.

Kick back and relax at Stonewood Coffee & Tea Co., a coffee house and café that features soups and sandwiches, as well as espresso drinks and seasonal menu items such as spiced apple cider.
