Talent, whether relocating or homegrown, can launch and build a career in one of the nation's most-livable places.

It's all here.

And more is coming.

In the next 20 years, more than 220,000 new residents will reside in Greenville County. 108,000 new jobs will be created during that time.

Be part of it. Make Greenville’s story part of your story.

Smart Starts

Greenville provides students with a range of high-quality education options. Greenville County Schools is the largest public school system in the state and 45th nationwide, and nearly 60 private schools are in the region.

Unique educational opportunities are also available, as the area is home to 11 magnet academies (9 of which are in Greenville) as well as the state’s premier school for the artistically talented, South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities.

Sharpening Skills

Once students finish high school, they do not have to move out of the region to continue their education, as a number of top colleges and universities have branch campuses in the area. For example, a number of Clemson University’s off-campus programs are located in Greenville, such as the school’s graduate-level business programs and centers.

Cha-Ching!

Your wallet will house a few more dollars if you live in Greenville.

According to the Greenville Area Development Corporation’s cost of living calculator, the cost of housing is nearly 17% lower, utilities are over 6% lower and transportation is about 4% lower than the national average.

Not only does the area boast affordability, but the plethora of outdoor recreation opportunities mean residents can stay entertained at little to no cost. Options include the area’s collection of parks, greenways and trail systems.

Volunteer Here

Interested in getting involved in and giving back to the Greenville community? Good news – the region is home to a variety of nonprofit organizations that offer plenty of volunteer opportunities. A few options include Able South Carolina, Build Carolina and the Greenville Humane Society.
