These days, air travel has become a frustrating and exhausting experience for many. However, Nashville International Airport – BNA – has taken measures to ensure the best experience airports have to offer.

With a 900,000-square-foot terminal, Nashville International Airport is host to 14 airlines and serves nearly 100 other airport markets. BNA has earned numerous awards, including “Airport with the Best Customer Service” and “Airport with the Most Unique Services” from Airport Revenue News. In addition to the creative renovations taking place since 2006, BNA has two other distinct features.

Fly Green

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, MNAA, has implemented a number of initiatives to promote sustainability and environmental awareness at BNA. The airport has introduced a comprehensive recycling program – including not only paper, plastic and aluminum, but also light bulbs, tires, and batteries – and is replacing its carpeting, restroom and light fixtures with recycled and energy-saving systems.

Arts at the Airport

MNAA and the Tennessee Arts Commission fund permanent and temporary visual and performing art exhibits at BNA, providing both residents and travelers with stunning samples of Middle Tennessee's thriving art scene. The airport's constant exhibits are accompanied by live music performances throughout the terminal.
