“The Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt saved my grandson. Talk about incredible care – the family could come in and be with him, and there was a bed for his mother. They pulled him through – it was a miracle. I felt so safe knowing he was there.”

“I love going to see a movie at the Belcourt Theatre. They show movies that aren't shown other places, and I can order a beer – you can't do that at other theaters.”

“Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams has unique flavors, and I love that they are open late on Friday and Saturday nights. I can go there around 10 p.m. and still get ice cream.”
“Saturday nights at Centennial Park are the best. They have bands and dance lessons for free from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m., and every week you learn a different dance. The dance community is really tight-knit in Nashville, so you're always guaranteed to see someone you know.”

“My favorite restaurant is Mafiaoza's – I like it because it's kind of goofy. They have fun names for their pizzas, like The Enforcer, and they're all delicious. The place has tons of personality and a nice atmosphere – and they're open late!”
“Centennial Park is awesome – it has walkways, water and the Parthenon, which is really cool. During the spring and summer, there are food trucks everywhere – it's fun to spend an afternoon at the park, get something to eat and relax. It's also great for exercising, like jogging, walking or biking – I see all kinds of people there doing lots of different things.”

"The Pharmacy in East Nashville has great burgers, and the atmosphere is great. There are picnic tables outside, and it's really laid back – it's fun to hang out with friends there, and you never feel rushed. They also have a nice bar and good beer. It would be a great spot to take a date.”
“I saw the Wood Brothers at 3rd & Lindsley, and it was fantastic – the venue has lots of places to sit, so I didn't have to fight any crowds, and the balcony was a nice place to hang out. I also saw a Beastie Boys cover band at Exit/In, and I had a great time there, too – the acoustics are good, and the artists' names on the wall make excellent conversation starters. It's open, so the whole place is perfect for meeting new people and mixing and mingling.”
