Bethany Cooper agrees. As principal talent acquisition for CoreLogic, a big-data software company building next-generation solutions for the real estate industry, she says Oxford is a great place to cultivate team members for several open positions and help them grow within the organization.

Buster Hale, director of human resources, says mTrade has technical jobs that require subject matter experts as well as document processing positions and those that are strictly financial.

“We use a lot of contractors for our hourly jobs, but we do have a career path in place for those who want to grow into one of our full-time employees,†he says.

Hale says mTrade knows it has to set itself apart by offering an exciting work environment, a competitive benefits package and a few attractive perks, such as a family membership to the YMCA.

Hale is confident that, in time, Oxford can become a major tech hub with 10,000 jobs in the area and employees who are eager to live in a community with a low cost of living and a great quality of life.
