Fuzzy may not be a word you usually associate with tacos, but in Fort Worth, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is the favorite of local taco aficionados.
The original Fuzzy’s went up for sale in 2003 after only two years of operation. That’s when father/son restaurant dynamic duo Alan and Chuck Bush stepped in, bought the fledgling restaurant and applied the Fuzzy’s Promise to daily operations: “To focus our full attention on promptly and efficiently providing our guests with generous helpings of uniquely flavored foods at a fair price.”
Their mission statement: Keep the promise every day.
The promise has paid off with Fuzzy’s Tacos locations opening throughout Texas and 11 other states – even as far north as Wisconsin.
Fuzzy’s is known for their fish tacos – the emphasis is reflected in their logo – and touts their burritos, nachos and queso, with plenty of ice cold beer to wash it all down.
Bright yellow walls and red tables are part of the fun, energetic atmosphere – indoors and on the patio – where you can watch a game on TV or just hang out.
For more fun, visit Fuzzy’s World on the Web, where Fuzzy posts photos of his loyal customers wearing Fuzzy’s logo in national and international locations. Be sure to check out their happy hour specials, and mark National Taco Day on your calendar – Fuzzy’s offers dollar tacos to celebrate the annual holiday!
