The city of San Angelo has one of the Princeton Review's top colleges right in its backyard.

Angelo State University was included in the Princeton Review's "The Best 371 Colleges" for 2010.

The school, a member of the Texas Tech University System, delivers undergraduate and graduate programs in the liberal arts, sciences, and professional disciplines and is known for its strong academics and nationally ranked programs like physics.

ASU has an enrollment of approximately 6,300 and attracts students from every region of Texas, 40-plus additional states, and more than two dozen countries, with tuition and fees that remain at one of the most affordable rates in Texas.

Numerous student clubs and organizations, as well as outstanding NCAA Division II intercollegiate athletics, create a lively and engaging campus environment.

The university has been steadily expanding its programs and facilities as its student population continues to swell. Students can select from 40 academic programs and nearly 100 majors and concentrations. Many students continue their education in one of the university's 29 graduate programs or attend leading professional schools across the nation.
