Patsy B. Weiler is based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Her introduction to writing came in a high school journalism class and her love of crafting words still continues.
She is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and in 2010 wrote the award-winning book, 'A Time to Build Up' the storied history of then Middle Tennessee Medical Center which opened in 1927.
Weiler directed the publicity and media relations of Uncle Dave Macon Days, a nationally recognized traditional old-time music and dance festival. Additionally, she worked with the venerable John Rice Irwin, founder of the Museum of Appalachia In Norris, Tennessee assisting with publicity for The Tennessee Fall Homecoming celebration.
Her writing has appeared in Murfreesboro Magazine, USAToday Network * Tennessee and the family of magazines produced by the MTSU Office of University Publications.
With laptop in tow, she and her husband enjoy rambling down back roads together looking for local eateries, friendly people and the next story waiting to be told.
