Located in Church Hill, Richmond's oldest neighborhood, The Roosevelt serves southern-inspired dishes such as fried chicken sliders, catfish and braised collard greens. The restaurant opened in July 2011, and has since won several awards including Style Weekly magazine's 2012 Restaurant of the Year and Richmond Magazine's Best New Restaurant in the Region.
The Roosevelt also offers an expansive drink menu with wines exclusively from Virginia, as well as regional beers and signature cocktails created with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
The restaurant is open for dinner from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursday, and from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Brunch, which includes a menu with choices such as smoked bacon and fried chicken biscuits, is available on Sundays from 10:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.
