Burlington offers its residents a range of ways to get around. Its impressive public transportation is included in the Chittenden County Transportation Authority, which operates a system of buses throughout different communities in Vermont. Among its services offered are fixed route, demand response, and commuter shuttle. For downtown workers, the CCTA offers a program called Downtown PARC which shuttles workers from a satellite parking lot to downtown Burlington businesses, subsequently saving downtown parking spots for shoppers and visitors. For travel outside city limits, the Burlington International Airport offers direct flights to many major cities.
