Though not commonly known for its emphasis on the arts, a stroll through Gillette's Avenues of Art may leave visitors with a different impression. Developed by the Mayor's Art Council, a group charged with developing and placing more public art through the community, the Avenues of Art are sculptures and pieces placed throughout the city.
Now in its seventh year, the Avenues of Art brings in work from all over the country to feature in both rotating and permanent displays. Find a piece and fall in love? No problem; the featured art later goes on sale for your purchasing pleasure.
