AltaPointe has been a national leader in behavioral health for more than 60 years. In 2018, it expanded its scope to include primary health care.

Springhill Medical Center
50 Years of Service
Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, Springhill Medical Center is the only private, family-owned hospital in the Mobile area. An acute care facility, it has quadrupled in size to 270 beds since opening in 1975 and employs around 1,300 people.
The hospital is recognized for its high nurse-to-patient ratio, especially its dedicated one-to-one nursing care during labor and delivery.

The medical campus is also home to a senior residence and centers for heart, cancer, orthopedic surgery, sleep medicine and wound care. They also offer hyperbaric medicine, an inpatient rehab center and an emergency department with a rapid treat-and-release area and extensive community education.
Surgical services include inpatient, outpatient, open heart, cranial and robotic surgery.

USA Health University Hospital
Transformations in Medicine
USA Health University Hospital is home to the Fanny Meisler Trauma Center, the only one in Southwest Alabama. Recognized for providing the highest level of patient care, the facility houses regional centers of excellence for the treatment of burns, stroke, cardiovascular disease and sickle cell disease.
Also, the hospital serves as a teaching and research center for the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama.
