Surrounded by majestic mountain ranges and the picturesque Willamette Valley, hiking and biking are among the favorite outdoor activities in Corvallis, a quaint (but growing) college town. Corvallis enjoys a lofty rating in education thanks in large part to Oregon State University. In fact, Corvallis was one of Livability.com’s 10 Best College Towns in 2017. The city has a large number of citizens with graduate degrees and is among the nation’s leaders in per-capita number of new patents. (Perhaps the city's nickname should be "Clever-vallis"?)

Residents take pride in getting involved with civic causes and sustainability, and Corvallis scores high on health care thanks to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. Check out more info about Corvallis right this way.
