With a deep talent base, an abundance of available land, a strong transportation network and a desirable quality of life, the Victor Valley has become a destination for relocating and expanding businesses.
Among those companies is Aemerge RedPak, a manufacturer of technology for handling waste and producing energy. Headquartered in Hesperia, the company broke ground on a new $55 million medical waste treatment facility that is scheduled to create some 30 new jobs.
“Aemerge was attracted to the business-friendly environment, access to technical and industrial workforce, modern infrastructure, affordable real estate and proximity to a large population base,” says Adam Seger, president and CEO of Aemerge RedPak. “In fact, two of our top three variables in locating were the location and skilled workforce. The affordable housing, proximity to outdoor activities and a community feel were also factors impacting our employees’ relocation decisions.”
