Latin American Flavors 

You can start and finish your day with your favorite Mexican food in the Robins Region. Calvillo Mexican Grill in Warner Robins opens early seven days a week for those wanting to start their day with a burrito or chilaquiles. Come back for lunch or dinner to explore the vast menu of Mexican favorites and full bar. 

El Jalisciense in Kathleen is another local favorite that’s been serving the community since 1988. Guests love the sizzling fajitas, guacamole and handcrafted burritos wrapped in homemade tortillas.

Another must-visit is Salsa’s Mexican Grill, which offers an exceptional menu and private space for those special occasions. 

Make a special lunch visit to My Grandma’s Empanadas. Owner Rikki Waite started as a vendor at the International City Farmer’s Market and grew the eatery into the luncheria it is today. Waite and her team fill and shape hundreds of Panamanian the way her grandmother did. Stop in for lunch and try any of their veggie, meat and sweet empanadas. 

Southern Homecoming 

Craving down-home comfort food? Try The Swanson, located in a beautifully restored historic home steeped in Southern charm. Named for a beloved community matriarch, this casual restaurant has been serving up classic Southern home cooking since 2002. 

The menu features comfort food prepared with care and served at a relaxed pace, making it an ideal spot for special occasions and a laid-back night out. On Sundays, guests can enjoy a special lunch menu that highlights traditional favorites in a cozy, inviting setting. 

’Orleans on Carroll Street in Perry brings a Southern menu with a distinctive Cajun flair. Known for its lively atmosphere and outdoor seating area, it’s a great place to enjoy Sunday brunch or unwind during happy hour, offered Sunday through Thursday.

Down the road, Props Steak and Seafood in Warner Robins offers an aviation-themed dining experience with a focus on expertly prepared steaks and fresh seafood. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends; the Sunday brunch is a popular choice for locals and visitors.

Fans of Asian cuisine are in luck. A must-visit is Sushi Thai in Warner Robins, which has been serving a mouthwatering menu of award-winning fare Japanese and Thai food for more than 20 years. 

At Thai Pepper, diners enjoy popular dishes like panang curry, pad thai and pad see ewe, as well as traditional ramen and sushi. Order to your spice preferences: level one if you’re a newbie and up to level five if you’re a spice enthusiast. 

At KIN.D 96, the pad thai curry is a menu highlight, fusing the flavors of the beloved dishes. The restaurant’s wide-ranging menu also features fresh poke bowls, crispy katsu, authentic ramen and stir-fries.
