The College of the Holy Cross is a proud member of the Worcester community and is actively engaged with our closest neighbors on College Hill and in South Worcester. Our students, faculty and staff are committed to working with Worcester’s residents and leaders to ensure our neighborhood and city are even better places to live, learn and work.

Arts

Holy Cross is home to the Prior Performing Arts Center, which opened in the fall of 2022. This state-of-the-art facility augments Worcester’s place as a thriving arts hub and welcomes local communities to campus to enjoy a variety of performances and to browse exhibitions at the Cantor Art Gallery.

Athletics

Each year, Polar Park in Worcester’s Canal District hosts Holy Cross football during Family Weekend. It’s the perfect way for students, their families and fans in the local community to enjoy the excitement of a team that’s won four consecutive Patriot League Championships. Crusader fans from all over Worcester are invited to Fitton Field for home football games and the Hart Center for Men’s and Women’s basketball and hockey.

Campus

The College of the Holy Cross campus, which resides on 175 acres, is a registered arboretum. Today, there are over 115 varieties of trees and shrubs on the Holy Cross campus. Enjoy the Natural Area Trails on campus, which are great for walking, running, listening to birds or simply breathing some fresh air.
