GE Energy
The production of gas turbines and wind energy is the focus at General Electric Energy, which has 3,400 employees at its Greenville manufacturing facility. The Greenville plant is home to the largest and most efficient gas turbine in the world.

BMW
Even though Spartanburg is 10 miles away, several hundred Greenville residents commute to-and-from the BMW plant each workday to produce vehicles for the German-based auto manufacturer. The Spartanburg facility produces the BMW X3, X4, X5 and X6 crossover vehicles.
