These three organizations are bringing jobs and helping revolutionize the Greenville life sciences industry.

Kiyatec: Changing Cancer Care

Kiyatec is a precision oncology company changing cancer care. Kiyatec’s proprietary and trademarked 3D Predict and KIYA-Predict technology platforms are disrupting cancer treatment by predicting patient tumor-specific responses to therapeutics before treatment begins.

“I see both Kiyatec and Greenville as innovators – we are transforming cancer care and the city is thoughtfully curating one of America’s most vibrant downtown ecosystems, making this initiative a formula for success,” Kiyatec CEO Matt Gevaert says.

Luxor Scientific: Leading Laboratory

Luxor Scientific is a leading, independently owned clinical and research laboratory in South Carolina.

“Luxor Scientific brings together care-focused, industry-recognized laboratory and business experts. We serve clients nationwide from our state-of-the-art facility,” Chief Strategy Officer Jay Flanagan says. “We process up to 400,000 specimens per month and provide timely, high-quality test results, enabling clinicians to diagnose, treat and monitor health conditions while putt ing the patient’s best interest first.”

Luxor’s recent $3.2 million investment increased the company’s research and development capacity and created 54 jobs.

Main Street Labs: Innovation Hub

Main Street Labs is a Hughes Development Corporation’s adaptive reuse project serving as a 100,000-square-foot life sciences hub in the city’s downtown Innovation District. The Main Street address provides brick-and- mortar real estate for research companies and health care businesses. Kiyatec anchors the four-story building – at one time a JCPenney retail store – with offices and labs on two floors.
