Arrington Vineyards rooted in country music.
What does a country music star do when he isn’t crooning tunes?
He had a little help, of course, and with businessman Fred Mindermann and winemaker Kip Summers as his allies, the 75-acre vineyard sprung to life in 2005.
Two years later they bottled their first vintage, and today the vineyard produces 12 different kinds of wines including a riesling, merlot, chardonnay, viognier, cabernet sauvignon, syrah and a sweet raspberry.
The wines are sold in fine wine shops throughout New York City, New Orleans, Oregon and Tennessee.
But there’s more to enjoy than just the wine (though there’s plenty to go around); guests are encouraged to pack up a picnic and enjoy the scenery and live music.
