The phrase “Made in Tyler” is becoming more evident these days, since many products sold throughout the U.S. and beyond are made in Tyler.
Everything from smoked turkeys to vodka to Scottish shortbread is made here. For example, Greenberg Smoked Turkeys serves about 200,000 customers each year by shipping turkeys ranging from 5 to 15 pounds, and the turkeys even made Oprah Winfrey’s Favorite Things list.
Janie’s Cakes are billed as “The World’s Best Pound Cakes,” while Queso Mama combines chiles with cheese, used as a delicious appetizer dip or side dish. The product is sold nationwide at stores including Whole Foods and Costco.
