As a property manager who moved to Sweetwater County from Southern California to help establish a new apartment community, The Preserve At Rock Springs, Farouk Salah could hardly wait to spread the word.

“Previously coming from a large market in Los Angeles, I’m most excited to show Rock Springs, and Sweetwater County, the benefits of luxury, maintenance-free living at a price that can fit their lifestyle,” says Salah, Preserve business manager.

The Preserve: Class and Comfort

The Preserve’s allure includes its multiple amenities and services, such as a heated pool and a 24-hour fitness center, that help foster “a comfortable, carefree lifestyle,” Salah says.

“Residents don’t have to worry about time-consuming items such as home repairs, pool maintenance and snow removal,” he says. “We pride ourselves in knowing our residents’ needs are taken care of and they can come home to a well-maintained property and apartment home.”

Units are available in seven different configurations and include one-, two-, and the hard-to-find three-bedroom floor plans.

A look inside reveals a high level of quality not always evident in apartment living.

“Some of our clients initially refused the idea of an apartment as they thought only a proper house could fit their lifestyle and needs, until taking their first tour here and discovering that not only were our apartments accommodating, but much more affordable than they anticipated,” Salah says.

Gunsight Estates: Distinctive Choices

The Preserve is close to another new development, this one a growing residential subdivision, Gunsight Estates.

For those who do want to enjoy the benefits of home ownership, Gunsight Estates offers a unique range of options. Whereas similar developments are typically served by a single builder with a more limited menu of floor plans and styles, Gunsight Estates features a wide range of home options and multiple builders from which to choose, ensuring an eclectic feel to the fast-growing neighborhood.

Adding to the diversity, Gunsight Estates features home lots of varying sizes and price ranges, avoiding a cookie-cutter, demographically homogenous community. Another plus for buyers is the development’s policy of placing no time restraints on building; it’s possible to hold a lot until just the right time to break ground. What’s more, each lot has fiber optic for the most up-to-date communications.

Gunsight Estates and The Preserve are both only minutes from the heart of Rock Springs and within close range of top schools, parks, Rock Springs Family Recreation Center, restaurants and nightspots, entertainment, shopping — anchored by the bustling White Mountain Mall and its Star Stadium 11 theater — and other community services.

On the Upswing

The Preserve and Gunsight Estates represent two distinct yet related offerings within a real estate market that local observers say is gaining strength and drawing attention from buyers, whether they opt for apartment dwelling or homeownership.

“Our community is leading the charge of competitively priced luxury housing,” Salah says.
