Public Schools

Autauga County Schools serves approximately 10,000 students in kindergarten through grade 12, with reading and math achievement levels consistently exceeding the statewide average. The school system’s athletic programs are also highly touted in football, basketball, baseball, tennis, soccer, golf, track and softball.

Private Options

Families that prefer a private Christian education in Prattville may choose Prattville Christian Academy or East Memorial Christian Academy. PCA offers a non-denominational Christian education program for students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. Enrollment at the school, founded in 1997, is approximately 600 students. Its curriculum includes physical education, music, art, drama, foreign language and Bible classes.

East Memorial Christian Academy, a ministry of East Memorial Baptist Church, opened in 2003 and has approximately 360 students in pre-kindergarten through high school. East Memorial offers two diploma tracks, a standard diploma and an advanced diploma,  with additional credits in math and science curriculum required. Before- and after-care for youngsters is also provided.
