Comfort and Care are Close to Home in the Greater Daytona Region
The Greater Daytona Region offers residents high-quality health care options close to home.

Whether residents need a routine checkup or a more intensive treatment, they usually don’t have to travel out of the region for care, as they are served by two high-quality health care systems, Halifax Health and AdventHealth, which are also two of the area’s largest employers.

Halifax Health has three hospitals in Volusia County – Daytona Beach, Deltona and Port Orange. Plus, it oversees Halifax Hospice, multiple clinics, a freestanding emergency department in Deltona, and urgent care centers across the county. Halifax Health is also acclaimed for its service in stroke care, earning the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award.
Also serving residents in the area is AdventHealth, which operates four hospitals in Volusia County — Daytona Beach, DeLand, Orange City and New Smyrna Beach. All four hospitals are equipped with intensive care units, while additional urgent care clinics are set up across the county to serve multiple communities.
