The practice boasts 23 board-certified and fellowship-trained physicians, internationally known as leaders in their field. Supporting these doctors are 32 advanced practice providers, along with a dedicated team of therapists, nurses, technologists and medical staff. Patients benefit from two locations in Houston County – Warner Robins and Kathleen. Nearby Macon is the address of the flagship facility and the Macon Spine and Orthopaedic Center. Physicians Give Back to Community

OrthoGeorgia physicians are heavily involved in local college and high school sports and often are sideline volunteers, helping support injured players. During May, approximately 2,500 high school athletes throughout the region take advantage of complimentary physical screenings. The practice participates in an Athletic Injury Clinic (evaluation by a sports medicine fellowship-trained physician and an X-ray) from 9 to 11 a.m. every Saturday during football season at no cost for local,in-season athletes. 

Also, they engage their communities with sports medicine symposiums, coaches’ clinics, health fairs, campus health talks and community fitness awareness forums.

Dr. Brian Ludwig, an orthopaedic surgeon, is head team physician for Mercer University, Middle Georgia State University and Fort Valley State University. He has lived in Houston County for 15 years. 

“This community is now home, and we love it here,” he says. “My background and training in orthopaedic sports medicine allows me to help care for our local high school and college athletes. I find it particularly rewarding to be able to see young athletes get back to doing activities they love and to continue at the next level.” 

Another team member, Dr. Todd Kinnebrew, has lived in Houston County for 25 years. An orthopaedic surgeon, Kinnebrew has a strong military family background and a deep affinity for Robins Air Force Base personnel. 

“It’s an honor to be able to care for the service members in our military community that help protect our freedoms every day,” says Kinnebrew, an active member of the board of directors and donor for the Museum of Aviation Foundation. 

In addition to providing stellar medical services, the group is a significant economic contributor to Middle Georgia and is a top employer in the area. Plus, they have treated all ages from across Georgia and 41 states.
