Saturday Afternoon/Evening: History and Culture

Constructed in 1817, the picturesque Ye Olde Mill is Velvet Ice Cream’s headquarters and draws over 150,000 visitors annually.

Afterward, it’s time to explore Downtown Granville, a quaint town steeped in New England-style charm. Begin by taking a stroll down Broadway, Granville’s postcard-worthy main street, to visit the local shops and art galleries on foot.

While you’re there, consider a stop at the Granville Historical Society Museum to learn the fascinating history of the area and view rotating exhibits.
