The annual Moon River Festival strikes a chord with music lovers each year in mid-September, with about 20,000 fans packing scenic Coolidge Park along the Chattanooga riverfront. The two-day celebration showcases more than 20 talented artists from Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia who primarily specialize in folk and indie music.

Acts scheduled to perform at the September 10-11, 2022, festival include Leon Bridges, Zach Bryan, Band of Horses, Wilderado, Futurebirds, Lucius, Keb’ Mo’ and Greensky Bluegrass. Also scheduled is Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors. Holcomb is a Tennessee native who founded the Moon River Festival in 2014.

Other attractions include Lookout Lodge, The Treehouse, Tennessee Tavern, a splash pad and plenty of interactive areas for kids and their parents. A portion of every ticket sale in 2022 goes to Friends of Outdoor Chattanooga and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
