Toll Brothers Is Making its Mark in Nashville, Tennessee

The exceptional population growth experienced in the Nashville region in recent years has opened doors to a wide variety of new job opportunities, entertainment offerings and more. Toll Brothers, America’s Luxury Home Builder, is also opening doors in Nashville, with an array of new luxury home communities that are hitting all the right notes in the Music City.

Since its founding in 1967 in Pennsylvania by brothers Robert and Bruce Toll, Toll Brothers has grown into a Fortune 500 company. The company currently builds new home communities in more than 60 markets in 24 states across the country.

Toll Brothers first arrived in Nashville in 2023 and has quickly made its mark in the region.

“Nashville was one of the largest metro areas in the U.S. from a housing permit perspective that we did not build in, and it was just a great opportunity to bring our luxury home designs to this vibrant market,” says Jordan Hartigan, division president of Toll Brothers in Tennessee. “We look forward to continuing to grow and evolve alongside the greater Nashville area.”

Toll Brothers is currently building in several new home communities in the area, including Toll Brothers at The Nations, which offers two collections of condos and townhomes in West Nashville; Tomlinson Pointe, which offers single-family homes in Mt. Juliet; Toll Brothers at August Park, which offers single-family homes in Spring Hill; and Meadowlark, which offers townhome and single-family home designs in Murfreesboro. Franklin Ridge in Franklin, which will offer luxury home designs up to 4,400 square feet, is scheduled to open in spring 2026.

“We’re still very much in the beginning stages of what we hope to create in terms of our presence in Middle Tennessee,” Hartigan says. “We’re taking the luxury brand and craftsmanship that we’re known for across the country and establishing it here in Nashville. At Toll Brothers, we like to say that we build homes at the corner of Main and Main. We want to build great homes in great communities in the best locations.”

Travis Chapman, Toll Brothers’ vice president of sales and a Nashville native, says customers are truly inspired by the company’s offerings.

“When customers walk into our model homes, they can feel the difference – they know that these homes are something special,” he says.

In addition to homes built-to-order from the ground up, Toll Brothers offers quick move-in homes with designer appointed features expertly curated by design professionals and inspired by the company’s stunning model homes.

Toll Brothers works closely with local officials to establish neighborhoods that complement the surrounding area and fit well into the broader community.

“We work with community stakeholders and local municipalities to bring our distinctive architecture and elevated home designs to the marketplace,” Hartigan says. “We also work with local architects and landscape planners to really understand the surrounding areas and what is important to our customers. We are constantly striving to build homes that meet the needs of today’s homebuyers and how they want to live.”

Toll Brothers also does more than simply build homes – they build communities. Hartigan says the company often discovers what the surrounding community might need and then works to incorporate those amenities into its plans whenever possible.

“We try to find out what the greater public would like to see at these sites other than homes,” Hartigan says. “It might be a park, a pickleball court or a hiking or biking trail. At one site we worked with the city to help solve a road problem. At another we’re creating a Frisbee golf course. Yes, we’re a homebuilder, but a lot of what we do is try to create value. Our goal is to build something that everyone can be proud of and that brings value to the entire area.”

Toll Brothers is now a proud member of the Nashville community, with more than 40 employees working in the region. The company contributes to local organizations such as the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, the Williamson County Animal Center and several area schools.

“It’s important to us to find ways to get involved in the communities where we build because, ultimately, we’re a partner,” Hartigan says. “We especially want to partner with all these areas to build great communities that everyone is going to be excited about. That way, years from now we can all look back and say, ‘I’m glad Toll Brothers came to Nashville and built that.’”
