We scoured all 50 states to pinpoint the perfect place to pick your pumpkin this Halloween season. Here's where to find them.

No autumn bucket list is complete without a trip to the local pumpkin patch. But with all the options available, how do you choose the best one? We’ve taken the hard work out of it for you and compiled a list of the top places to pick pumpkins in every state. All you have to do now is hit the road.

Alabama

Harpersville, AL: Old Baker Farm
Old Baker Farm in Harpersville, Alabama, has everything you need for the fall season. You can spend a day wandering the pumpkin patch in the fall and then come back after Thanksgiving to explore their Christmas tree farm.

Alaska 

Palmer, AK: Reindeer Farm
Have you ever been to a genuine, working reindeer farm? While this is obviously a bucket list destination for winter activities, Reindeer Farm in Palmer also has a fall festival complete with pumpkins, hay mazes and tractor rides.

Arizona

Scottsdale, AZ: MacDonald’s Ranch
MacDonald’s Ranch is known for horseback rides and cowboy cookouts, but they also have an impressive pumpkin patch when autumn rolls around. Of course, pumpkin prices depend on size, so there’s something for every budget in this Scottsdale spot.

Arkansas

Piggott, AR: Pumpkin Hollow
The list of attractions at Pumpkin Hollow in the fall is endless. Meet the farm animals, pick some pumpkins, take the kids for a pony ride or explore the corn maze.

California 

Laguna Hills, CA: Pumpkin City’s Pumpkin Farm
One of the oldest pumpkin patches in CaliforniaPumpkin City’s Pumpkin Farm is home to pumpkin picking, autumn festivals, and a host of games, activities, and amusement rides to entertain the whole family.

Colorado 

Broomfield, CO: Rock Creek Farm
There are more than 100 acres of pumpkins at Rock Creek Farm in Broomfield, Colorado. Pick some pumpkins, greet the farm animals and bring flashlights to enjoy a family-friendly evening corn maze walk.

Connecticut 

New Milford, CT: Harris Hill Farm
Family-owned and operated Harris Hill Farm in New Milford is nestled amidst the scenic countryside of Litchfield County. You’ll lose yourself in the beauty and peace of the landscape while picking pumpkins here.

Delaware 

Wilmington, DE: Ramsey’s Farm
Autumn is incomplete without a trip to Ramsey’s Farm in the cozy town of Wilmington. You can pick pumpkins as a family before exploring the maze, going on a hayride, and so much more. 

Florida 

Sarasota, FL: Fruitville Grove
Located in SarasotaFruitville Grove produces perfect, organic pumpkins and has a pumpkin festival each weekend in October that includes a kid-friendly costume contest. The patch also has live music, a petting zoo and a circus, where visitors can make themselves at home. 

Georgia 

Oxford, GA: Mitcham Farm
Roughly 15 minutes north of Covington is Mitcham Farm, a multi-seasonal farm where visitors can pick pumpkins. There are also a variety of activities on the farm, including hayrides, pony rides and a corn maze. 

Hawaii 

Waimanalo, HI: Waimanalo Country Farms
Hawaii may not be top of mind when considering where to get your pumpkins this year, but Waimanalo Country Farms has it all. Visitors can enjoy visiting with animals, a sunflower field and plenty of pumpkin-themed photo ops. 

Idaho

Paul, ID: Landers Pumpkin Patch
Everyone loves Landers Pumpkin Patch in Paul, Idaho. They have pumpkins and decorative gourds in all shapes and sizes, so get ready to stock up!

Illinois 

Arthur, IL The 200 Acres
Formerly known as The Great Pumpkin Patch, The 200 Acres is a family-friendly operation in Illinois that is a highlight for people near and far. They aren’t hosting their usual fall festival in 2020 but have two acres dedicated to pumpkins, gourds and mums, so you can still get your fall fix.

Indiana

Goshen, IN: Knollbrook Farm
You can, and should, pick pumpkins at Knollbrook Farm in Goshen, Indiana. But you should also take advantage of this dairy farm’s unique Scavenger Hunt Corn Maze and family-friendly play areas.

Iowa 

Cumming, IA: Howell’s Pumpkin Patch
From pick-your-own pumpkins to corn mazes and family activities, you can find all kinds of delightful happenings at Howell’s Pumpkin Patch in Cumming, Iowa.

Kansas 

Burns, KS: Walter’s Pumpkin Patch
Walter’s Pumpkin Patch hosts a fall event called Pumpkinfest each year, and it’s well worth the trip to spend a day savoring time on this beautiful family farm. In addition to their autumn activities, they also have 30 acres of pumpkins to pick!

Kentucky 

Harrodsburg, KY: Devine’s Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch
Children and adults of all ages can find something fun to do at Devine’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. They have plenty of pumpkins and an impressive corn maze for those interested in an autumn challenge.

Louisiana 

Hammond, LA: Mrs. Heather’s Farms
Mrs. Heather’s Farms is simultaneously one of the loveliest pumpkin patches and strawberry farms in Louisiana, which means you can enjoy the property and activities throughout multiple seasons of the year.

Maine 

Dayton, ME: Pumpkin Valley Farm
Everyone loves Pumpkin Valley Farm in Dayton, Maine. This family-friendly farm has pumpkin patches, corn mazes, duck races and more to keep everyone smiling all day long.

Maryland 

Middletown, MD: Jumbo’s Pumpkin Patch
The scenic landscape at Jumbo’s Pumpkin Patch in this quaint Maryland city is one for the books. Don’t forget to bring the whole family for a day of outdoor fun!

Massachusetts 

Southampton, MA: Fletcher Farm

Belleville, MI: DeBuck’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

Minnesota

New Prague, MN: Barten Pumpkins
Barten Pumpkins used to be a sweet corn farm, but they have since shifted gears to produce some of the best quality pumpkins in Minnesota. They also sell corn stalks, straw bales, broom corn and other decorative gourds.

Mississippi 

Blue Mountain, MS: Pumpkin Patch Farms

Moriarty, NM: McCall’s Pumpkin Patch

New York 

Clarence, NY: The Great Pumpkin Farm
Wholesome fun is the name of the game at The Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence, New York. This patch lives up to its name, so visitors should be prepared to be greeted with more pumpkins than they have ever seen in one place!

North Carolina 

Winston-Salem, NC: Hawks Pumpkin Patch

North Dakota 

Bismarck, ND: Papa’s Pumpkin Patch

Rhode Island 

Warwick, RI: Morris Farm
Life is busy at Morris Farm with its vegetable garden, greenhouses and farm animals. But every autumn, the farm welcomes visitors onto their property to enjoy pumpkin picking and fun fall activities.

South Carolina 

Mt. Pleasant, SC: Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch
You’re missing out if you’ve never been to Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. They have plenty of pumpkins and an intricate corn maze that the whole family will love.

South Dakota 

Spearfish, SD: Spearfish Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch
Spearfish Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch have entertained families in South Dakota for eight years. They are only open on the weekends, so plan accordingly if you want to go this year.

Tennessee 

Franklin, TN: Gentry’s Farm
Gentry’s Farm is a local favorite among residents of Franklin, Tennessee. You can pick your own pumpkins in their large patch or purchase pre-picked ones categorized by size and shape.

Texas 

Midlothian, TX: Shadow Creek Pumpkin Farm
If you want to make the most of autumn in Texas, plan a trip to Shadow Creek Pumpkin Farm in Midlothian. They have more than 10 acres of shaded property, so you can savor the experience without scorching in the sun.

Utah 

South Jordan, UT: Mabey Farms
More than 45 varieties of pumpkins grow on the 16 acres at Mabey Farms in South Jordan, Utah. If that isn’t enough to spark your interest, you’ll be happy to learn that admission is free!

Vermont 

East Thetford, VT: Cedar Circle Farm
Where better to get your pumpkin fix than an organic farm in East Thetford, VermontCedar Circle Farm’s pick-your-own operation is fun for the whole family, with everything from pumpkins and berries to fresh flowers.

Virginia 

Chesapeake, VA: Hickory Ridge Farm
Three acres of Hickory Ridge Farm are dedicated to U-pick strawberries, but six are full of gorgeous and plump pumpkins. They also host fall festivals on the weekends in October.

Washington 

Snohomish, WA: Craven Farm
Craven Farm is considered the original pumpkin patch of the Snohomish Valley. They’ve hosted their annual fall festival for 38 years and don’t plan on slowing down anytime soon. This patch is fun for people of all ages and even has a pet-friendly afternoon for you to bring your dog!

West Virginia 

Inwood, WV: Old McDonald’s Pumpkin Patch
While you might come to Old McDonald’s to pick out your pumpkins for the season, you stay to enjoy the intricately designed corn mazes. Be sure to bring the camera because they have all kinds of great photo opportunities!

Wisconsin 

Rice Lake, WI: Mommsen’s Pumpkin Patch
Mommsen’s is a combination pumpkin patch and apple orchard that deserves a top spot on your autumn bucket list if you live in Wisconsin. Be sure to pick up some tasty treats to take home on your way out.

Wyoming 

Clark, WY: Gallagher Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch
The admission fee at Gallagher Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch covers everything from entry to the farm to hayrides and corn maze adventures. The pumpkin patch and concession stand cost extra but are worth the price.
