The 2018 Top 100 Best Places to Live List Is Here!
Our 2018 Best Places to Live list includes a mix of familiar names and exciting newcomers. Can you guess which city nabbed the #1 spot?
It starts with 2,300 cities and a big, unwieldy pile of data.
Then, we ask more than 2,000 people across the country to tell us what matters most to them about the place they live. Affordability? Great schools? A fun cultural scene? Job prospects? Tight-knit community?
Once we get those answers, the art and science of creating our annual Top 100 Best Places to Live list kicks into high-gear. We spend months calculating, researching, recalculating, spreadsheet-updating, algorithm-checking, writing, editing, number-crunching and coffee-drinking.
And now, it’s finally here: Livability.com’s Top 100 Best Places to Live list for 2018.
This year’s list includes a mix of familiar names and deserving newcomers. We’re excited to spread the love for some awesome, under-the-radar cities while continuing to praise the enduring excellence of beloved places that make the list every year.
