Hearing is a vital part of experiencing the world around us – and when that connection with sound is compromised, it can cause a deep sense of disengagement and isolation.
That’s where Optimum Audiology comes in. With three locations in California, the team at Optimum Audiology focuses on compassionate care tailored to an individual’s circumstances.
Kristi Mendoza, Au.D., a highly skilled audiologist and owner of the practice, is committed to providing exceptional care and personalized attention to individuals with hearing concerns.
“It takes people an average of seven years to get help with their hearing, during which time they may have isolated themselves from the rest of the world,” says Mendoza, who has been practicing audiology since 1991. “It is my goal to help them hear, understand what they’re hearing and come alive again.”
Optimum Audiology, which opened in Apple Valley in 2015, prides itself on a community-focused approach, making sure patients receive the highest level of service. That includes hearing testing, hearing aid fittings, newborn hearing screenings, ear wax management, tinnitus and more.
The company is also adept at navigating the intricacies of insurance, which can often be overwhelming. Mendoza and her team are well-versed in dealing with insurance providers (and accepts all major carriers) and can help guide clients through the complexities, ensuring a seamless experience.
Mendoza’s expertise extends beyond routine audiology care. She also specializes in worker’s compensation cases and helping military personnel. In addition, Optimum Audiology participates in Hearing The Call, a nonprofit group that provides hearing aids to those who can’t afford them.
Driven by a deep love and respect for those who serve our country, she goes above and beyond to guarantee that servicemen and women’s hearing needs are met. Mendoza also works with the Community Care Network to help make it easier for veterans to obtain hearing services.
“Every single person is deserving of being able to hear and understand what they’re hearing,” Mendoza says. “When I see people in my office, I want them to feel like they are part of our Optimum Audiology family.”
