New Developments Add to the Victor Valley’s Growth
The Victor Valley is growing and evolving, and evidence of that can be seen in several major construction projects that are reshaping the region.
In Apple Valley, the town council passed the North Apple Valley Industrial Specific Plan, which allows large projects to be approved quickly and seamlessly.
A good example of that took place in March of 2025 with the groundbreaking of a 1.2 million-square-foot distribution center that will create hundreds of jobs. Logistics company Loctek Ergonomic Technology Corp. is constructing the center for its subsidiary company Lecangs, which specializes in e-commerce warehousing and logistics services for a variety of corporate clients.
“This major logistics facility will further establish Apple Valley as a growing hub for industrial job development,” says Sarah Krieg, Town of Apple Valley public information officer. “Also, exciting new retail is on the way. Sprouts Farmers Market, Hobby Lobby, Marshalls and Five Below are all set to open their doors, expanding local shopping options and boosting the town’s commercial landscape.”
Apple Valley has also been investing recently in key infrastructure projects and upgrades, including the resurfacing of 26 miles of roadway and the widening of Yucca Loma Road to improve traffic flow. In addition, more residential development is underway, with Texas-based LGI Homes constructing 128 new homes to meet the growing demand for housing.
“In Apple Valley, you’re not just opening a location; you’re joining a community that’s ready to support your success,” Krieg says. “Our local government is pro-business and easy to work with, and we’ll walk alongside you to help streamline the process, cut through red tape and get your project off the ground fast.”

Happenings in Hesperia
In Hesperia, the 650,000-square-foot KISS Logistics Center will house KISS USA. Founded in 1989, with products available in over 100 countries, KISS is a global leader in the beauty industry, specializing in professional quality beauty products and treatments.
KISS Logistics Center represents the company’s expansion of logistics and warehousing to the West Coast to support its global operations. It will ultimately create 600 permanent, full-time jobs.
“Hesperia offers companies a strategic location, strong transportation access and a business-friendly environment,” says Kelly Brady, City of Hesperia public relations analyst. “With direct access to Interstate 15 and proximity to Highway 395, businesses in Hesperia are well-connected to major markets across Southern California and beyond.”
Brady says another significant development – Hesperia Commerce Center II – is also moving forward. Building permits were issued and work is now underway on the future 2.5 million-square-foot industrial/ warehouse complex, which, when completed in mid-to-late 2026, will generate approximately 1,000 full-time jobs.
“With available land and a growing workforce, Hesperia provides an ideal setting for businesses looking to expand or establish new operations in the Mojave River Valley,” Brady says.

Vitality in Victorville
In Victorville, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. is opening a 1.3 million-square-foot distribution warehouse at the Southern California Logistics Airport (SCLA). Goodyear joins other Fortune 500 companies as major tenants at the expansive SCLA, including Amazon, Boeing, GE Aviation, Keurig Dr Pepper and Newell Brands.
“Businesses are drawn to Victorville because of the competitive advantages we offer, including our proximity to major transportation routes, skilled labor force, family-friendly community and commitment to promoting a business-friendly environment,” says Sue Jones, City of Victorville public information officer. “Unlike some communities closer to Los Angeles, we have open spaces here in Victorville that are available for development at a reasonable price.”
In addition, Jones says a 1.35 million-square-foot warehouse distribution center will be constructed at the northwest corner of Mojave Drive and Topaz Road.
“That development will include three warehouse distribution buildings located on three undeveloped properties encompassing 81 acres,” she says. “This project is a speculative development. The users of the buildings are not known at this time.”
Meanwhile, Jones adds that there are currently six hotel brands in plan review or under construction in Victorville, and homebuilders are active in seven different communities within the city. Also, a new library is being constructed at Green Tree Golf Course, and a new police station with a real-time crime center is in the design phase for Civic Drive.
“Victorville is also the California city of choice for national brands wanting to break into the California market,” Jones says. “Walmart, Pharmacy Boardshop, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers and Steak ’n Shake have all had successful beginnings in Victorville.”
