How These Victor Valley Hospitals Care for the Community

The Victor Valley’s trio of hospitals, Providence St. Mary Medical Center, Victor Valley Global Medical Center and Desert Valley Hospital, are each integral to the region and offer something unique to the community.

Desert Valley Hospital in Victorville is an award-winning 148-bed acute care facility that, along with Desert Valley Medical Group, offers heart care, emergency services, labor and delivery, surgical services, and more.

Desert Valley Hospital recently celebrated a historic milestone by producing the first-ever graduates of its Internal Medicine Residency Program.

In 2025, Desert Valley Hospital began an expansion project to add an 83,000-square-foot, two-story emergency services building.

In Victorville, Victor Valley Global Medical Center is a 101-bed acute care hospital founded in 1967. In 2023, Victor Valley Global Medical Center began the first phase of the expansion of its emergency department, adding 6,800 square feet of space, adding 16 additional beds and doubling its patient capacity to 40.
