Cara Sanders is the managing editor and director of digital marketing for Livability.com. As an award-winning journalist with nearly a decade of experience, she specializes in using data-driven insights to uncover the "why" behind what makes a city a great place to live. Her work focuses on quality of life, community amenities and affordability, helping readers look beyond our rankings to get to the heart of a city’s character.

A graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in public relations and minors in journalism and business, Cara has experience in social media, health care, lifestyle reporting, public affairs and event planning.
