Pittsburgh has long been buoyed by its booming steel industry, but in recent years a wave of millennials have been drawn to the city’s STEM careers and opportunities. Carnegie Mellon University’s computer science program ranks among the top 10 in the world, with graduates starting their own tech companies within the city’s blossoming tech arena.
