#5. Billings MT
Home to 40 bars, or about one bar for every 2,800 residents, Billings takes its beer seriously. The city’s charm, walkability and top-notch brews make it not only one of the best destinations for beer tourism in the country, but also one of the best places to live.
In downtown Billings, beer lovers can hop on the Billings Brew Trail, Montana‘s only walkable brewery trail. The 1.5-mile, self-guided tour consists of six breweries, two distilleries and one cider house. Some of the most popular breweries on the trail include Montana Brewing Co., Überbrew and Yellowstone Valley Brewing Co.
